Membership Savings Account

Earn monthly dividends on the money you save and keep your savings growing with a Membership Share Savings Account! We call our basic savings account a Membership Savings Account because this account establishes your membership with VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union. You might also hear us refer to your savings account as a share account. That’s because opening this account makes you a “shareholder” in the credit union.

Minimum opening deposit of $60.00
Tiered dividend rates based on account balance, with dividends paid monthly
Earns a higher dividend when the balance is greater than $10,000
ATM card to make deposit and/or to withdraw your funds
Quarterly E-Statements, unless you have ACH or ATM activity associated with this account

Once you’re a member of the credit union, your family members can open a Membership Savings Account too! This account is a great basic savings account for anyone: your spouse, parents, grandparents, children or grandchildren.

Christmas Club Savings Account

Make the holiday season less stressful with a Christmas Club Savings Account! We designed this account specifically to help you set money aside throughout the year so that you have it when you need it. A Christmas Club Savings Account protects your funds from early withdrawal by keeping them separate from your regular savings. Save money each month for Christmas gifts, holiday travel, or other winter expenses.

Open enrollment is from November 1 to January 31 of each year
Minimum opening deposit of $10
No monthly or annual service fee
Earns a higher dividend than a regular Membership Savings Account
Funds will be deposited to your checking or savings account on November 1
Make monthly deposits with payroll deduction or automatic transfer
Make additional deposits at any time

You must have $50 in a Membership Savings Account to open a Christmas Club Savings Account.

Vacation Savings Account

Make next summer your best summer ever with a Vacation Club Savings Account! This account helps you save money throughout the year in preparation for summer expenses by protecting your funds from early withdrawal and keeping them separate from your regular savings. Use the money you save for a vacation, summer activities for the kids, or any other seasonal need.

Open enrollment is from June 1 to August 31 of each year
Minimum opening deposit of $10
No monthly or annual service fee
Earns a higher dividend than a regular Membership Savings Account
Funds will be deposited to your checking or savings account on June 1
Make monthly deposits with payroll deduction or automatic transfer
Make additional deposits at any time

To open an account, please complete the account application form and bring your documentation to the nearest VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union branch.

Money Market Account

Earn even higher monthly dividends on the money you save while continuing to enjoy full access to your funds!

Access to your funds via checks or ATM/Debit card
Up to 6 withdrawals per month*
Quarterly E-Statements, unless you have ACH or ATM activity associated with this account

*Money Market Accounts are governed by Regulation D, limiting the number of withdrawals each month
